I’m Lajos Erdős, photographer based in Budapest. I work on events, family and portrait sessions as well as creative projects and fine art nudes – where light, the human body and storytelling meet.
About me
Photography has been with me throughout my life – from childhood curiosity to professional work.
My love for photography has accompanied me since childhood. In the summer of 1986 I received my first camera – a SMENA film camera – which set me on this fascinating, creative journey. The first attempts came with plenty of challenges, but with persistence and continuous learning I went deeper and deeper into the world of photography.
Since then, photography has been an organic part of my everyday life. In 2020 I obtained my professional photographer qualification, which strengthened my technical foundations and gave me new momentum to practise this artform even more consciously and at a higher level.
Alongside my full-time job I started my own photography business, focusing mainly on events, family sessions and portraits. People are always at the centre of my work – every face, glance and gesture carries a unique story, and this is what I find truly magical about photography.
I am particularly inspired by creative projects and fine art nudes, where the beauty of the body, shapes and the play of light take centre stage. For me this genre is not just photography, but a visual language where naturalness, elegance and sensitivity meet.
Since 2024 I have been actively participating in various photo competitions, receiving numerous acceptances and several gold medals. These recognitions not only bring joy, but also motivate me to explore new directions, new perspectives and to keep raising the bar in my work.
